FRAME TYPE: The default setting for all domes is using high-quality Borovi Pine, but you can upgrade to Oak, which is even more durable. Oak has a natural resistance to rot and insect damage, which can enhance the lifespan of the domes, particularly in challenging climates. This makes it a great choice if you are seeking a longer-term investment.

DOME PANELS: We source our dome panels from PREFA, an Austrian company with 75 years of experience in roofing. The default 2nd-class panels are perfect for most domes, but considering your needs, climate, and dome use case, you can choose upgrades for durability and longevity.

INSULATION: If you don’t need your dome to be four-season capable, you can order it without any insulation. As an upgrade option, you can add 5cm or 10cm of wool insulation.
